As a Choir Director, my mission is to inspire a diverse population in discovering the power of their very own voice. Directing, Conducting and teaching choir is a lifelong endeavor that pulses in my heart to the beat of the earth. I train musicians, both singers, and non-singers to learn solfege to become literate in the language of music. The ability to read music empowers musicians and singers alike because it provides the necessary tools in the understanding and performance of high-quality music. Overall, it's a wonderful opportunity to create a sanctuary of song in a fun-filled environment that leads to rewarding artistic achievement. I have prepared and taught singers, musicians, solfege and musicianship students with the Los Angeles Children's Chorus, the National Children's Chorus (USA), the Youth Orchestra Los Angeles Chorus at the Heart of Los Angeles, and elementary/middle/high school students to perform at various venues such as the Hollywood Bowl (Los Angeles), Walt Disney Concert Hall (Los Angeles), Knott's Berry Farm, Royce Hall UCLA, the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion and many more.
